The 'kidder' in me aside...

I'll take the rare opp to post under this pseudonym one last time [? ;c)]...I'd been wanting to post this for a while now...

In light of the 'aura' surrounding the recent great additions to this forum, I'd just like to say something...

...it's occasionally been on my mind since; just wanted in some way to apologize to you, bro.

I've had a long time to think in beween since that post about the kit teacer from LI, NYC [let's just use the initials FB]. I have felt in the interim since that perhaps I reacted too harshly in some areas pertaining to that partic thread...

I do this NOT to rehash that old thread, but to let you know that I, AWA you, are learning, just like the rest of us - as NP put it, a work in progress, no matter what the skill level.

That partic drumr/teacher in ? [FB] had some great ideas in their playg; it's just that, naturally, some in here are going to have their opinions about it [including myself], that's all. Nothing more or less, & perhaps gospel to only those on their same 'wavelength.' No need to be alarmed...everyone is "where they are, when they are," & that may continue to change [AWA "stay/remain 'true'"...a 'constant'...] ;c)

But I feel it's important in my own learning & teaching philosophy / capacity that in order to make a point, if one feels the need to point out someone's fault, we should also point out the good quality, as this can ALWAYS be found within any given subject matter, if one is geared to finding it.

[I did say in that older topic that his ideas were very cool, it's just the use of them that was in ?; but oh well, it WAS a clinic was it not. No need to go into everyone here's philos' on the nature of clinics. We'd have to go into everyone's 'good' AWA 'bad' opins again... ;c) I for one, feel that clinics ultimately inherently have the potential to be quite a good thing in the end.

Anyway, we all grow at our own pace...& you showed great ability AWA potential & promise in your clips...& good to hear from you [AWA everyone else]; what kind of 'teacher' [AWA 'student'] would I be if i didn't realize this? Anyway, well-wishes of continued growth - I wish you all, the best.
